Happy Holi 2022: Holi is an Indian festival that is celebrated in many parts of India. The festival of colours is celebrated by Hindus to mark the arrival of the spring season. Halika Dahan on the eve of Holi is performed by lighting a pyre. The day of the festival starts with smearing each other with coloured powders and enjoy Indian sweets and other delicacies together. People in Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Jaipur, Pushkar, Varanasi and some other parts of India make this festival a week-long affair. This year unfortunately people are restricted to celebrate Holi in any public area. The gathering of people at public places, resorts and hotels to celebrate the festival has been prohibited by the Indian government.
