Ingredients of Christmas Plum Cake:
- 1 kg mixed dried fruits
- 200g brown sugar
- 250g butter
- 1 lemon and orange zest, juice
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 175 flour
- 100g almonds
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp cloves
- 2 tsp mixed spice
How to make Christmas Plum Cake
Step 1: Add the mixed dried fruits, butter, brown sugar, orange and lemon zest

Step 7: Ready to Eat
Peel the baking parchment, wrap it with cling film. Leave it for a fortnight until you ice it and it’s ready for Christmas.
