How to Ace an Exam

Step 1: Keep all important material in front of your eyes

Admit card, Student identity card and stationery must be kept ready. Make sure not to carry a pencil box or bags to the exam center. It’s a good idea to stack all stationery together with a rubber band or to carry a clear bag folder.

Step 2: Breakfast

Go easy on your breakfast and have light breakfast. It will provide energy and will help to build upon concentration.

Step 3: No last minute learning

Last minutes are always in vein, have enough confidence in your hard work . Do not draw comparisons trust your preparation.

Step 4: Sight of other students can make you jittery

It’s a better idea to remain away from other students (Including friends) as you may end up getting more anxious by drawing comparisons between exam preparation.

Step 5: Controlling anxiety

Before beginning writing take out 2 minutes , close your eyes and deep breath . Take regular sips of water throughout exam.

Step 6: Techniques to attempt question paper

Reading time is given to thoroughly read questions without being in hurry and making a blue print of answers in your mind. Make sure all key words are underlined . Start with what you know and work in sequence.

Step 7: Time management

Adhere to the given word limit while writing answers and do wear a simple watch (no digital) to the center for your convenience that will help in managing time.

Step 8: Revision time is must

Have enough time to Revise and double check your answer sheet before making submission. Check if all questions have been attempted.
