About Maa Kaalratri
Day 7 of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Maa Kaalratri. She is another terrifying form of Goddess Durga. Devi Kaali is one of her other names. Maa Kaalratri is recognized as the Goddess who brings an end to darkness by killing all the negativeness. She is also known for killing ghosts, evil spirits, and demon entities. Shubhankari is another name of Maa Kaalratri as she is believed to bring auspicious news. Maa Kaalratri is also known as Chamunda since he fought and killed the demons, Chand and Munda. Later she also killed the powerful demon Raktabeej.

काल के मुह से बचाने वाली॥
दुष्ट संघारक नाम तुम्हारा।

खडग खप्पर रखने वाली।

Maa Kaalratri has a dark complexion along with untied hair. Maa Kaalratri Puja Vidhi includes offering of kumkum, red flowers, roli etc. Along with this, Maa Kaalratri Aarti and Mantras are also chanted on this day. Some devotees also offer a garland of lemons to end their difficulties with the blessings of the Mother.
Maa Kaalratri Mantra
Maa Kaalratri Mantras are chanted during the 7th day of Navratri along with offering her red flowers. Maa Kaalratri has a thunderbolt and a scimitar in two of her hands. Her other two hands are in protecting and blessing positions. Hence, with the mindful chanting of Maa Kaalratri Mantra, the devotee will be protected from troubles and will be blessed by the Goddess.
